               "ලංකාවේ දේශපාලනය හා ආර්ථික වර්ධනයට බාධා"               

ජේ. ආර්. ජයවර්ධන යනු "විවෘත ආර්ථිකය" ලංකාව තුල බිහි කිරීමට මූලිකව ක්‍රියාකරන ලද දේශපාලන නායකයෙකි. දේශපාලනිකව කොතරම් සට කපට වුවද ඔහු ඇති කල විවෘත ආර්ථිකය අද ලාංකික ව්‍යවසායකයාගේ ප්‍රතිලාබ හා දියුණුව කෙරෙහි මහත් බල පා ඇති බව අප පිළිගත යුතුය. විශ්ව ගම්මාන හා අපේ වෙළඳ පොළ ජාත්‍යන්තරය හා මුහු කරන "විවෘත ආර්ථිකය" එදා නොයෙකුත් විරුද්ධ පක්ෂ හා විප්ලවවාදීන් "පිළිකුල් හා යකෙකු" ලෙස දකින ලද අතර එයට ගරහන ලදී. එමෙන්ම ජේ. ආර්. ජයවර්ධනගෙන් පසු බලයට පත් වුනු "ආර්.ප්‍රේමදාස" නැමැති ඒකාධිපතියකු මෙන් වැඩ කල, තමන්ට එරෙහිව එන්නවුන් ක්ෂණිකව මර්දනය කරමින් වුවද ආර්ථිකයට ඉතා වැදගත් "නිදහස් වෙළඳ කලාප", "නිමි ඇඳුම් නිෂ්පාදන කර්මාන්ත" ඉදි කරවීමට රජයේ අනුග්‍රහය හා ව්‍යවස්ථා, ආර්ථික සැලැස්මවල් සාදන ලදී. අද ලංකාවේ 950 වඩා "නිමි ඇඳුම් නිෂ්පාදන කර්මාන්තශාලා" ඇත. එයින් 400,000 - 500,000 පමණ රැකියා අවස්ථා ලැබී ඇත. ලංකාවේ වැඩකරන ජනතවගෙන් 15% ම සිටින්නේ "නිමි ඇඳුම් නිෂ්පාදන කර්මාන්තශාලා වලය". එමෙන්ම ලංකාවේ පිටරටට අපනයනය කරන මුළු භාණ්ඩ වලින් 50% ඇත්තේ "නිමි ඇඳුම්ය ". එයින් ලංකාවට විශාල විදේශ විනිමයක් ලැබේ. ලංකාවේ කර්මාන්ත වල නිෂ්පාදනයෙන් 39% ම නිමි ඇඳුම් නිෂ්පාදනය වන අතර මෙය ලංකාවේ ලොකුම එකාංශික අපනයන ආදායමට හිමිකම් කියයි.
බැරිවෙලාවත් මෙම කර්මාන්තශාලා ඇති කර නොතිබුනේනම් ලංකාවේ තරුණ පරපුරට සිදුවන්නේ "නිකන් උඩ බලන් හූල්ලන්නටය". අප සිතනවා මෙන් අපිට "සංචාරක කර්මාන්තයෙන්" මහා ලොකු විදේශ විනිමයක් ලැබෙන්නේ නැත. අපේ හෝටල් වල වියදම් වෙනත් විදේශිකයන්ට ඉතා අධික නිසා "සංචාරක කර්මාන්තය" කඩා වැටී ඇත. මෙහෙට දැන් එන්නේ "හිඟන විදේශිකයන්ය". අපේ හෝටල් වියදම් ඇතැම් විට "සිංගප්පුරු, තායිලන්ඩ්, මාලදිවයින" වැනි අධික සංචාරක ආකර්ෂණය සහිත රටවල් වල වියදමටත් වඩා වැඩිය. ඉතින් සංචාරකයෝ මෙහි එයිද?
මාගේ අදහසට අනුව "චන්ද්‍රිකාගේ" පාලන කාලය මේ රටට ආර්ථික වශයෙන් මෙලෝ රහක දෙයක් සිදු නොවුන කාලයකි. කෙසේ වෙතත් S.W.R.D බණ්ඩාරනායක "සිංහල" භාෂාව රාජ්‍ය භාෂාව කිරීමෙන්ම අපේ රටට කෙල වී සිංහල-දෙමළ කෝලාහල ඇතිවීම මෙන්ම අපේ තරුණ පරපුර ඉංග්‍රීසි භාෂාවෙන් ඉවතට විසි වී ජාත්‍යන්තරය සමඟ කරට කර ආර්ථිකව සටන් කිරීමට මැලි වීම රට පස්සට යාමට දායක වුව සේම, බණ්ඩාරනායකගේ දියණිය හදිසියේම බලයට පත් වීම (බොහෝ විට UNP හි සිටි බහුතරයක් කොටින්ගේ බෝම්බ වලට අසු වීම මීට හේතුවයි, ඔසී , ලලිත් ඇතුලත්මුදලි, ගාමිණී සේනානායක, ආර්.ප්‍රේමදාස වැන්නවුන්) රටේ ආර්ථිකයට කෙළ වීමට මුලික අඩිතාලම ලැබුණි.
ඉන් පසුව පත්වුණි "රනිල් ගේ අගමැති කම සහිත", "චන්ද්‍රිකාගේ ජනාධිපති කම" සහිත 2001–2004 ආණ්ඩුවද මෙලෝ රහක් නැති සම්පුර්ණ කාලයම සාම කතා වලට වෙන්වුණු අවුරුදු කිහිපයකි. ආර්ථික වශයෙන් කිසිඳු දියුණුවක් පෙන්නුම් කලේ නැත.
උතුරේ ඡන්ද දැමීම කොටි විසින් මිනිසුන් තර්ජනයට පත් කරලීමේ හේතුවෙන් වාසනාවට 2005 බලයට පත්වුනු මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ (50.29%) ප්‍රතිවාදී රනිල්ව (48.43%) පරාද කරන ලදී. මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ විසින් ගන්නා දැඩි තීන්දු නිසා හා ජ.වි.පෙ හා හෙළ උරුමය කරන ලද විදිමත් සහභාගීත්වය හා සරත් ෆොන්සේකාගේ දැඩි තීන්දු , රණ විරුවන්ගේ අපරමිත කැපවීම නිසා ඔහුගේ පාලන කාලයේදී යුද්ධය දිනා ගැනීමට හැකි විය. එහෙත් ආර්ථික වශයෙන් රටට තිබු අපහසුව "යුද්ධ වියදම" නැතිව වුවත් දිගටම පැමිණීම හුදෙක් ඔහුගේ පාලන කාලයේදී ලබා ගන්න ලද අධික ණය සහ අනවශ්‍ය මුදල් නාස්තිය, වංචා, දුෂණ හේතු විය. ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදයේද ප්‍රශ්න තිබු නිසාද, දුෂිතයන් රැකීම නිසාද, අධික මුදල් නාස්තිය නිසාද කොච්චර යුද්ධය නිමා කිරීමට දායක වුවද වර දෙකකින් පසු චන්ද්‍රිකාටත් වඩා අපකීර්තිමත්ව නියම කාලයටත් පෙර ගෙදර යාමට සිදු විය.
ඔහුගේ කාලයේදී "ණය ලබාගෙන" අධි වේගී මාර්ග පද්ධති සාදන ලදී, වෙනත් කුඩා මාර්ගද සංවර්ධනය කරන ලදී, නමුත් වෙනත් අනවශ්‍ය ඉදිකිරීම් රැසක් කරන ලදී. ඔහු සිතුවේ සංචාරක කර්මාන්තයෙන් අපේ රටට අධික විදේශ විනිමයක් ලබා ගැනීමටය, නමුත් එම සංකල්පය සාර්ථක වුයේ නැත. එයට හේතුව අපේ සංචාරක හෝටල් වල අය කිරීම වැඩි වීම නිසා විදේශිකයන් අඩු වීමයි. කෙසේ වෙතත් ඔහුගේ අවධානය "කර්මාන්ත ඇතිකිරීමට ", සහ " විදේශ ආයෝජකයන්" ගෙන්වා ගැනීමට යොමු නොවීම ඔහුගේ නොහැකියාවද? අපේ කරුමයදැයි? තවමත් අපට ප්‍රශ්නයකි.
අතීතය මෙසේ තිබිද්දී "රනිල්"- "මයිත්‍රී" ආණ්ඩුව තවමත් ආර්ථිකමය වශයෙන් සාර්ථක මුහුණුවරක් පෙන්නුම් නොකරයි. එය හුදෙක් මහින්දගේ පිළිල හැම රාජ්‍ය ආයතනයකම තිබීම හෝ "රනිල්"- "මයිත්‍රී" හවුලේ නොහැකියාවදැයි ? අපි නොදනිමු. කෙසේ වෙතත් ලංකාවට "ආයෝජකයන් කැඳවන", "අලුත් කර්මාන්ත ඇතිකරවන ", "තිබෙන නිමි ඇඳුම් නිෂ්පාදන කර්මාන්ත දිගටම හොඳින් පවත්වාගෙන යාමට GSP + සහන ලැබෙන" ආර්ථික ප්‍රතිපත්තියක් ඇති කිරීමට මොවුන්ට මොළේ පෑදේවයි පතනෙමි. නැතහොත් රට අගාධයට යාම සක්‍රයාගේ පුතා වයිමා ආවත් නැවැත්විය නොහැක.

MR's nature lovers didn't speak a single word when Wilpattu has been destroying since 2009 in the same scenario, MR's nature lovers didn't speak a single word while there is having a Migrant Bird's Path across the Maththala Airport, and having significant Elephant population around/close by the Maththala Airport? I guess you guys were sleeping out there or totally blind in those days. smile emoticon if you see my blog posts, FB mentioning articles; you would see relevant articles regarding those days about not only regarding both Wilpaththu, Maththala environmental concerns, but also MR's lack of interest regarding Human/Elephant conflict in his era. Although Dr. Prithiviraj Fernando has given a solid plan to MR by doing more than 20 years of his research, but MR has thrown it to the dust-bin as Dr.Prithiviraj said to me in that time. If "Yahapalanaya" people are interested, I can share my data, research initiatives, great discussions, conclusions regarding the "Solutions for the Human-Elephant conflict" according to Dr. Prithiviraj Fernando. He is a great asset for SL,but MR has never recognized him well, He did most of his research programs with his money and government didn't support him:

As Dr. Prithiviraj said average death rate of human is 50 and elephant is 200 due to this human-elephant conflict in SL over a year. MR/ GOTA built jogging tracks, Arcades, Beautiful Colombo, Nelum Pokuna, Nelum Kuluna, Clean Roads for people's health concerns an happiness point of view as they say (I would say those are only for a particular high class people's fun) but where the hell they built a solution for Human-Elephant Conflict while 50 human died per year and 200 elephants died per year?

"යහ-පාලනය" අර්ථ දැක්වීම

මර්වින් සිල්වා විසින් මිනිසුන් ගස් බඳින විට අපි ඒ පාලනයට "යහ-පාලනය" යයි නොකීවෙමු, මර්වින් සිල්වා විසින් ජාතික රූපවාහිනියට අමු අමුවේ පහරදෙන විට අපි ඒ පාලනයට "යහ-පාලනය" යයි නොකීවෙමු, කුඩු කන්ටේනර්පිටින් පිටින් ගෙනවිත් එහි සාක්ෂි කරුවන් නීතිය හමුවේ නොගෙනා විට ඒ පාලනයට "යහ-පාලනය" යයි නොකීවෙමු, තංගල්ල මෙන්ම වෙනත් ප්‍රා.ස /පළාත් සභා කිහිපයක සභාපති වරුන් ස්ත්‍රී දූෂකයන් වද්දී ඔවුන් ආරක්ෂා කර නීතිය හමුවට නොගෙනීමෙන් ඒ පාලනයට "යහ-පාලනය" යයි නොකීවෙමු. දුමින්ද සිල්වාගේ මැර කල්ලිය හා භාරත ලක්ෂ්මන්ගේ මැර කල්ලිය අමු අමුවේ මහමග තුවක්කු රැගෙන කෙලි සෙල්ලම් කර මිනිසුන් මරා දමා නීතියේ ආධිපත්‍ය බල්ලන්ට පුදන විට අපි ඒ පාලනයට "යහ-පාලනය" යයි නොකීවෙමු. චෝදනා රහිතව හිටපු හමුදාපති සරත් ෆොන්සේකා සහ හිටපු අගවිනිසුරු ශ්‍රියාණි මහත්මිය ගේ "වැටුප", "ජීවත් වූ නිවස" අහිමි කර, සහ නොයෙක් තාඩන පීඩන වලට ලක් කර හිරේ දැමීමට ක්‍රියා කල විට අපි ඒ පාලනයට "යහ-පාලනය" යයි නොකීවෙමු...!!

නමුත් නාහෙට අහන්නේ නැති අසමත්ජාති යු.ඇන්.පි මන්ත්‍රී පාලිත තෙවරප්පෙරුම වත්මන් ආණ්ඩුව පැත්තේ වුවද, ඔහු කල අශික්කිත චර්යාව හේතුවෙන් ඔහුව සිර භාරයට අද ගත් විට එය අපි "යහ-පාලනය" යයි අර්ථ දැක්කුවෙමු. කුඩු , මත් ද්‍රව්‍ය ලංකාවේ ප්‍රචලිත කිරීම උදෙසා චෝදනා විශාල සංඛ්‍යාවක් සහිත "වෙලේ සුදා" හිරේ දැමීමට ක්‍රියා කල විට එය අපි "යහ-පාලනය" යයි අර්ථ දැක්කුවෙමු. යුද්ධය අවසන් කරලීම සඳහා තම ජීවිතයද පරදුවට තබා වැඩකළ සරත් ෆොන්සේකා මහතා අද දින චෝදනා වලින් නිදහස් කල විට එය අපි "යහ-පාලනය" යයි අර්ථ දැක්කුවෙමු.....

මහින්දට "මර්වින් සිල්වා" හිරේ දැමීමට හෝ අවවාද දීමට නොහැකි වීමෙන් සිදු වුයේ නීතිය වල් වැදීම බව සක් සුදක් සේ පැහැදිලිය. එමෙන් රටට යන පණිවිඩය වන්නේ "ඔය මර්වින් මොනවා කලත් අපිට මොකද, ඔය මිනිහා මහා මෝඩයා නේ යන්නයි " , නමුත් එයින් මහා විනාශයක් සිදු විය. එනම් වැරදි කලත් මහින්දගේ පැත්තෙනම් ඕනෙම කෙනෙකුට ආරක්ෂාව ඇති බව සමාජයට තහවුරු වීමයි. එයින් මිනිසුන් තව තව වැරදි කිරීමට උඩ ගෙඩි දීමකි.

නමුත් අලුත් පාලන ක්‍රමය යම්කිසි ආදර්ශමත් බවක් සමාජයට ලබා දී ඇත. එය හුදෙක් "මහින්ද ලෝලියන්ට නම්" වහ කදුරු විය හැක. කෙසේ වෙතත් ඉදිරියේදී ස්වාධීන කමිෂන් සභා, මෙන්ම කෝප් සභා ක්‍රියාත්මක වීමෙන් පසුව ඉදිරියට ලංකාවේ නීතිය, සමාජ යහ පැවැත්ම, ජීවිත සුරක්ෂිතතාව තව දුරට දියුණු වේ යයි අපට බලා පොරොත්තු ඇතිකර ගත හැක...!!

නමුත් කලින් පේන කීම හොඳ වැඩිය.... අප සිටින්නේ අවධානයෙන් ඇස් යෝමාගෙනය... නරක් වී ගෙන එනවානම් ඕනෑම බල සම්පන්න ආණ්ඩුවක් පෙරලීමට දැන් මිනිසුන් සුදානම්ය... එනිසා අද ලංකාවේ දේශපාලනය එදා රස්තියාදු දේශපාලනයට වඩා තරමක් බැරෑරුම්ය... වැඩ නොකලොත් එන්නටත් කලින් ගෙදර යාමට සිදුවන බවනම් ඒකාන්තය......!!

Sri Lanka's development as a country proceeds to discouragement and hopeless aspect due to an early history western attacks and very weak attitudes in the people's mind


As I heard in my childhood and later from so many references; our ancestors were truly brilliant with their skills in many fields: Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Medical Treatments, Fitness Sports, Metal Industry, Clay Industry, War Strategies, Literature, Music, Dancing, Arts, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Food Science, Cooking, Preserving Foods, Vehicles and many more; They built huge Sthupa like "Ruwanwali Maha Seya", They built huge reservoirs like “Kala Weva”, They built outstanding forts like “Sigiriya and Yapahuwa”, They made huge statues like “Aukana and Polonnaruwa Budu pilima”, They built high-rise buildings like “Lowa Maha Paya” etc. Unfortunately we lost that entire valuable context after British, Dutch and portuguese arrived here; and the western people made us slaves of them and grabbed our humanity, talents, skills and technology without knowing us. We are using English language to grab international knowledge for our education, this is because Sudda made us unable and totally removed our attitude to work on our own great technology, skills and methodologies by ruling the country for several years. They totally destroyed our attitudes and made us unable to make a single “Reservoir” or a “Big Sthupa” or a “Statue”, or an “Art” or any other kind, The worst thing was Sudda made several “Kalu Suddos” everywhere who couldn’t even utter a Sinhala word and precisely they used to live in English style, and trying to make Sri Lanka as an another England on the planet. No matter they only spell or speak one Sinhala word “Budu Ammo” when only they see the Ghosts in the night

Human - Elephant Conflict in SL & SL Government's Careless Approaches to Solve the Problem

Very recently I met with a fantastic elephant scientist and a research specialist in human-elephant conflict mitigation. As he said average death rate of human is 50 and elephant is 200 due to this human-elephant conflict in SL; he has been managing the research for 30 years, and he realized relocation of herd of elephants would never solve the problem; the Wildlife Conservation has relocated more than 200 elephants from human areas to national parks, but the statistics explains it only increases the conflict; how this happened? normally moving elephant babies and females would never solve the problem, matured males are the aggressive ones; as he said he and his team have practiced relocating aggressive ones for last 10 years, they put GPS collars to those elephants and mapped their behavior and moving patterns, unbelievable , ultimately those aggressive ones returned back to their native places even after 1-2 years. While they are coming back they destroyed many other villages, crops and civilians. So the conflict has been almost increased..!! after 50 years of practiced he has mentioned this to the government and wild life, but they have never taken an action plan or proper solution for this. Only thing government should do is to find some investments and funds, he is always ready with all the solutions for this problem, even to give his advice, manage the project voluntarily, but question is why the hell government don't take Human-Elephant conflict as a serious issue? loss of 50 people, 200 elephants and millions of property per year; isn't it a critical economic and social issue?? Last time world bank has given money to fund the project, but Namal Baby has renamed the project and asked money for some other development. So World Bank has rejected the whole project.What a shame..!!! I would say building "World's Biggest Salt Water Pool" , and "World's Biggest Cricket Ground" , "World's Tallest Tower" in SL is not the priority Mr President, there are lot of other important things, you must think and do.

Can we make this island as a paradise??It's all about your attitude..!!

My dear Friends, Colleagues and Countrymen,

Sri Lanka was so called the pearl of the Indian Ocean. No matter we had amazing historical legends which were embedded with our genes and origin. As example Sinhala nation itself had a strong origin from Yakkha, Naga and Raksha tribes. Sinhala meaning of these words are yakkha; the people who made weapons, equipment and machines using metal, Naga; the people who traveled through the sea and rivers using boats and ships, Raksha; the people who were responsible of protecting the country (just like an army). We were a brilliant nation in the ancient time, we were the most established nation throughout the Asia region in Ravan's Era, even after the Ravan's Era. We fought against so many challenges in the early history. No matter we got-rid of the most difficulties in the history.

But due to some attacks from English, Dutch and Protegees, some of values were destroyed and built in a wrong way. In early history Sinhala people were the most hospitable nation in the region. And also they had lot of advanced technologies to build Weva (water tanks), Dagabs (sthupa), rivers, water systems, buildings, machinery, vehicles and many other weapons, and equipment. So we are so proud had the historical glory. But what is the point if we don't produce those talents further on. Need to find those talents again. Those skills and talents are still living in our genes. Only thing is we need to activate them as soon as possible. Those genes were disappeared because of the involvement of other bad nations. For example English, Dutch and Protegees destroyed our culture in a bad way. They destroyed our thinking patterns. They destroyed our attitude of being independent.

Hard to believe we had plenty of outstanding brains, but we couldn't build a single bridge, dagaba, road, weva or machines without other nations help. In the ancient time our kings made huge sthupas, weva and buildings without a help of any other nation. Now it is the time to make our genes alive again. Activating those genes can make a huge difference.

After a North-East war we got a good opportunity to make this island as a paradise. Please stop fight with each other. Just start with an attitude of making this land a miracle of Asia. No matter how hard it is, we can do it with the help and support of each and every person living on this beautiful land, See how beautiful this land is?? Forests, Birds, Waterfalls, Lands with trees, Elephants, Tea Estates, Food, Vegetables, Fruits and Animals, Mountains, Valleys beautiful Landscapes and Beaches, can't think of a paradise rather than this. So paradise is already here. Only thing we need to do is just stop this nonsense in politics, and human race violations and discrimination. Get together all the nations on the land of Sri Lanka. Let them to be happy and work for the development of this beatiful country.

Free education & Private Medical Universities story continues

Rural areas like Nuwara Eliya, Monaragala and Ampara have very difficult situations for the innocent students to learn.Travelling difficulties, disater effects, low facilities are found in rural areas. So don't challenge their knowledge with the students in Colombo and Gampaha. There is no point of arguing their difficulties with students who went 8-10 private tution classes all the time compared to rural area students.

Z-score strategy is developed by education specialists. I don't think it is worse; than measuring students' knowledge by money by establishing private medical faculties all around SL.

How come you say private universities are good when you come to a standard qualification like medicine. For the god sake everyone can't be doctors. There is always a limit. The people who end up with limits; you can't get them as doctors.

The only thing that government should do is to increase the capacity of universities to get more intelligent students to the intake. Molecular Biology of UOC is having a different scenario. 1.98 or closer Z-score has been gained by the students of MB. But they ended up with not related jobs with thier fields. Some became IT, Bankers and etc.

So who is doing wrong? Is it the Governement? or Students who selected for MB course? or the rural students who have originated in a rural place?

You have no clue here. System is almost corrupted than ever. We already know that there are only bullshits controlling the education system. What ever happens you can't make a "DOCTOR" in an easy way.Remember that bugger should memorize 500 medecines when he is in a sudden emergency, and also with logical approach for disease course, need to remember reactions, and logical thinking which is difficult for an average student to even think about.

With money only, with practice only you can't make doctors.You need to measure his brain too. Only up to now, we have A/L to measure it.If there any other methods please mention.Because we already know A/L would select the damn "spirit" among the students and in other case it is the hardest exam ever as I know.
